The unforgettable and fortunate meeting of
Mrs Mink and Ms Mann

After a series of what can only be described as mystical coincidences,
whilst escaping the oppressive heat of an Indian summer day.
Mrs Mink and Ms Mann met over several mason jars of beer,
under the gaze of a stuffed polar bear
..
Their lives have never been the same since.
...

Mrs Mink

Born by the sound of Bow Bells in the East End of London
but reared in the wilds of Scotland,
Mrs Mink found herself somehow living most of her formative years
in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.
Finally settling....somewhat unsettled

on the eastern side of the San Francisco Bay.
Working behind the scenes of a University Library
but feverishly pursuing her dream
of one day being able to walk out of her beige cubicle underground
and never looking back,
she works into the night and any day she can
constructing delicate worlds
made from old paper and forgotten photographs.

Ms Mann

Born in the cradle of the Gold Rush
and raised with a craving for the theatrical life.
Ms Mann suffered an unsettling situation
when her husband mysteriously evaporated whilst she was

otherwise engaged in the creation of outlandish
garments, small toys and various pickles.
Forging new alliances in the wake of this disturbing circumstance,
she soon found herself

often in the charming company of Mrs Mink.
Curiosity about psychic phenomenon and a
fondness for items that sparkle
soon cemented their friendship and fueled their investigations.

Her creations of thread and fiber, wood and paper, and lost objects
continue to be her obsession.
