but reared in the wilds of Scotland, Mrs Mink found herself somehow living most of her formative years in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. Finally settling....somewhat unsettled on the eastern side of the San Francisco Bay. Working behind the scenes of a University Library but feverishly pursuing her dream of one day being able to walk out of her beige cubicle underground and never looking back, she works into the night and any day she can constructing delicate worlds made from old paper and forgotten photographs. |
Ms MannBorn in the cradle of the Gold Rush
and raised with a craving for the theatrical life. Ms Mann suffered an unsettling situation when her husband mysteriously evaporated whilst she was otherwise engaged in the creation of outlandish garments, small toys and various pickles. Forging new alliances in the wake of this disturbing circumstance, she soon found herself often in the charming company of Mrs Mink. Curiosity about psychic phenomenon and a fondness for items that sparkle soon cemented their friendship and fueled their investigations. Her creations of thread and fiber, wood and paper, and lost objects continue to be her obsession. |
